Asset Reservation Management
There are times when a high-valued asset (or rental asset) is in short supply but high in demand. Our asset reservation system helps in minimizing the impact on the operation and reduces the need to acquire additional assets. It allows each user to view the reservation log and reserve the asset for the duration they need it. The asset reservation module helps in keeping the asset utilized at full capacity with minimum interruption to your operation.
Tool Crib Management
The system allows for autonomous control of all aspects of your tool crib. The user scans a badge and upon authentication, the system opens the door. On exit, the user scans again, and the system registers all the tools he is taking out. The user receives a confirmation email of what he just took out and receives a reminder email when the due date nears. The result is a complete chain-of-custody tracking and accountability with minimum cost and supervision.
Asset Rental Tracking
One aspect of maximizing asset utilization is to manage the asset rental/lease with minimum cost. Many times, an organization rents an asset and forgets to return it on time. They continue paying high rental costs without realizing that the asset is no longer needed or is being under-utilized. DominateAsset reminds you of the rental due dates, its current status, any pending reservation against it and the rental costs.
Through an automated check-in and check-out process, the system associates assets to each employee, role, or even outside entity; keep the complete chain-of-custody information; and automatically email due date reminders. You can use the system to track assets’ check-out costs to a project or location by allocating costs and charging a specific GL account at the time of check out.
The transfer module allows for transfer out of a facility and for secure transfer in at another. For transferring high-valued assets, it utilizes an advanced paperless approval process that requires all parties to authorize the transfer before the system allows for the asset transfer to proceed.
Asset Services is a complete service and repair module that manages all aspects of an asset’s service, preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration. It can track an asset’s PM and calibration based on its expiration date, odometer reading, meter reading, hours used or number of times used.
The work order tracks work done, parts used, third-party repair services and all associated costs.
An easy-to-use mobile service app allows technicians to perform the PM or calibration in the field and capture all relevant service data and images.
Asset Visibility Dashboards
Through the asset visibility dashboards, you can view a list of assets present on the map of the facility or a world map. In sensor dashboard, you can view sensor data for each asset as well as the location’s temperature and humidity information, making this ideal for data centers and anywhere that environmental monitoring is relevant.
The alert module notifies you of and prevents unauthorized movement of assets and materials within or outside your facility. It can send messages via SMS, email, and screen pop-ups. It can also take actions to lock doors and turn on buzzers and strobe lights.
The notification module reminds users of important due dates or events. It sends emails to all responsible parties to remind them of dates or events such as PM due dates, calibration due dates, expiration dates, and warranty expiration dates. It also sends notifications of predictive maintenance or calibration based on the service events established for an asset.
The audit module operates on a handheld or tablet device. The system provides flexibility to do online or offline auditing. Data can be batch processed and used to update the database in real time or once the wireless network is available.
For targeting specific assets to audit, the system provides unlimited asset attributes to select from. This feature helps the user find the assets for audit/search based on parameters such as location, asset type, asset attribute, next preventive maintenance date, expiration date, etc.
Handheld RFID/Barcode readers can be used to perform daily audits. You can use their audio and visual indicators to search for and quickly find the missing or misplaced asset. Tablet and smart phone applications provide the mobility that is required to register new assets, tag assets, check-in/out, transfer-in/out, service & repair, disposal, and perform a variety of other functions in the field.
Bill of Materials (BoM)
The BoM module keeps track of assets that contain sub-assemblies or are components of another asset. For example, a server could have a hard drive, tape drive, and other sub-assemblies, while an HVAC system could have a compressor, power supply, and controller board as components. The BoM keeps track of the asset and all others related to it. It is a perfect tool for kit tracking.
